PRESIDENT: FLINT ECKSTEIN |
My name is Flint Eckstein and it's a pleasure to introduce myself. Originally I am a Business Engineer with a technical background in Mechanical Engineering. After gaining experience in Brazil and South Africa I started up my own business in the Netherlands . Recently I also started as product manager for IHC Merwede. When one of the founders of the EUSAM approached me with the question if I wanted to be a part of this studbook, I took up his offer with a lot of enthusiasm. The American Miniature Horses are unfamiliar territory for me. But because of my inquisitive character making the EUSAM a success feels like an amazing opportunity. When combining this with the broad scope of experiences in the board, and the help of all the members, the EUSAM is bound to be a success. As an “Outsider” in the world of American Miniature Horses I would like to give my fresh opinion and create a fantastic

BOARDMEMBER REGISTRATION: ANTON BOSGOED
|
My name is Anton Bosgoed and I'm a board member of the EUSAM. keeping animals is an important hobby for me. Growing up on the farm, this is something I inherited when I was a little boy. During my education and work I've always bin, and still are, active in the world of animals. Though this was more theoretical then practical. Breeding animals was an important part of my education. Breeding American Miniature Horses is something the EUSAM can well look after. The sole focus is the American Miniature Horse. Therefore the EUSAM members don't have to fear for inbreeding and can make a fine selection. This will improve and guarantee the progress of the race. I've been involved in animal studbooks for over 25 years and have extended experience in board and registration work. This experience, combined with my breeding experience, will be of good use for making the EUSAM excellent.

Since I was a little kid I'm a animal lover. Luckily we have enough space around our house. We have al lot of farm animals such as; chickens, birds, goose, dog., cats and miniaturehorses. We started with breeding about 7 years ago, and now we have a beautiful herd. The challenge of improving the breeding is what we like the most. I think the new studbook is a must for everybody who has 100% American miniature horse. I think they need their own identity. I hope we all can look forward to a sunny an great future for ourselves and our horses. |
BOARDMEMBER: HERBERT KLUMPES
|
As a descendant from a farmers family I was always interested in everything that has to do with the animal world, specially the smaller kinds. At later age I got infected with the American miniature horses. I started to build an accommodation for these horses and in the mean time the population is growing steady. The first results are visible. I hope that many with me will enjoy this hobby. I trust we will achieve much with our organisation an have lots of pleasure doing it |
